Women’s History Month: WaveLink, Inc. Recognizes Marie Curie
Women in History – Marie Curie (1867-1934)
WaveLink, Inc. proudly commemorates Women’s History Month by recognizing the pioneering contributions of famous women in math and science. This week, we’re highlighting the achievements of Marie Curie who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1911 for isolating pure radium. She, along with husband Pierre, discovered polonium and radium, and won the Nobel Prize for Physics for discovering radioactivity. Her work paved the way for the discovery of artificial radiation and the neutron.
