Women’s History Month

During the Apollo 11 mission, just moments before landing on the Moon, the onboard computer began signaling overload alarms.

Instead of failing, the system prioritized critical tasks and kept the mission on track, allowing the astronauts to land safely.

That software was developed under the leadership of Margaret Hamilton, shown here beside the code created by her team for the lunar and command modules.

Her team’s work helped shape modern, mission-critical systems where reliability, real-time decision making, and performance under pressure are essential.

At WaveLink, Inc., we are proud to carry that legacy forward as we design and support systems that must perform when it matters most.
