WaveLink is pleased to announce that we were the recipient of a $1B TETRAS II contract for from the Air Force Test Center for specialized technology development, supporting DoD test systems and facilities for 5th and 6th generation weapons and cyber systems. TETRAS-II is the follow-on contract to the first TETRAS IDIQ award that WaveLink received in 2017. TETRAS II will support the ongoing mission of the test community to develop and integrate highly specialized technologies required to meet DoD test user systems under test and facilities needs for Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) capabilities. The primary objective of TETRAS II is to provide the 96th Range Group and other Department of Defense customers with the capability to meet the need to urgently develop and modify T&E systems and facilities and to support mandatory radio frequency (RF) spectrum transition plans as the test community employs technologies to ensure the performance of 5th generation weapons and cyber systems and begins the process of validating and transitioning to 6th generation technologies. WaveLink was a proud sponsor of the 34th annual AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium held 28-30 August 2023 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. The AUVSI Pathfinder Chapter holds these each year to help raise funds to support scholarships and grants for STEM and Robotics clubs across North Alabama. These are mostly within K-12, along with homeschool students, and extends to universities. On the third day of each year’s symposium, Pathfinder Chapter presents the Order of Prometheus award to deserving individuals who have provided significant and enduring contributions toward advancing the goals of AUVSI.
